Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a high-energy Junior Accountant to join a firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors based at their Hillcrest office. This full-time position is perfectly suited for a driven professional ready to take the next step in their career by managing a variety of client portfolios. You will be responsible for compiling annual financial statements and performing independent reviews in accordance with industry standards. If you are a self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses a strong technical background in accounting and auditing, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements:
• A recognized 3-year degree that meets SAIPA/SAICA requirements.
• At least 4 years of experience in an accounting/auditing environment; completed SAIPA/SAICA articles is highly preferred.
• Essential proficiency in CaseWare, Greatsoft and Pastel/Sage accounting software.
• Proven ability to draft annual financial statements (AFS), prepare tax computations and resolve SARS queries.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with a strong focus on quality and detail.
